Natalie performs for Bellmeade Manor!
Natalie is very excited to announce she will be singing at the Bellmeade Manor in Altoona, PA! Bellmeade manor is a Graystone assisted living facility. This performance is dedicated to Natalie’s grandfather and his fellow residents. “A lot of these residents still have a voice, and music has always been intended to be a voice for those who can’t always express how they feel. I hope through this performance I can give to those who have been without it or needed to hear the message that music is something that no one can take away from you.”
An Evening w/ Natalie
In Altoona, Pennsylvania music has always been present. “My love for music may have come from my parents, but the schools always fostered my creativity.” Natalie is excited to partner with ArtsAltoona in attempts to bring music of a variety of styles. She wants to expose the area to more than just the pop music culture, but a culture of music that celebrates where America comes from and where it is advancing towards. Natalie has been trained classically, and uses this training to advance Jazz, Soul, R&B, Pop, and the new music being created now. Hope to see you in Altoona on June 22nd!
Grand Opening: Railroad City Cultural Center
Natalie will be performing in her hometown of Altoona, Pennsylvania! Make sure to stop by for her set. Her music will include a combination of R&B, Soul, Pop, and Jazz. This organization is one run through the Blair County NAACP President Andrae Holsey, but is its own business entirely that partners with other various organizations within the area. This soon to be very active performance venue is a welcome change and will impact the lives of many in the community. We look forward to seeing you on June 8th!

Natalie's Final Project Spring 24'
For those who don't know, it's officially FINAL PROJECT SEASON! It has been an honor to not only focus on my music, but to learn so many new skills. In just one year the SMV-School for Music Vocations at SWCC has changed the entirety of my skillset. I am so thankful to my teachers and peers, and I look forward to sharing more of my music with the world!
Also, for those who may be wondering, as I continue this journey as a new artist, I have grown and adapted and take joy in officially announcing my stage name! I am and forever will be Natalie Holsey, but now I am proud to say that I am also Natalie Nikaó.
My time in Iowa has been a whirlwind of different experiences, but something that I want to take with me is this name. Nikaó comes from the biblical term which stands for victorious, conqueror, overcomer, and so on (especially in battles or trials). I want to spread the message that through music and Jesus we as a collective can and will overcome our obstacles/challenges (John 1:5, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it").
I'm making a name for myself as a Pennsylvania based jazz singer-songwriter. Stick around to learn more and stay tuned for more updates! :)
