ABOUT NATALIEBased in Central Pennsylvania, Natalie Nikaó is a classically trained vocalist, with an extensive vocal range, who specializes in Jazz. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Although her undergrad did not have a jazz program, Natalie created her own path to a career in jazz music as both an educator and a performer. She is a multicultural singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, having studied the flute, piano, guitar, ukulele, percussion, and most recently, the electric bass.
Although originally from Maryland, Natalie has grown fond of the Pennsylvania mountains and stems a lot of inspiration from her own spiritual experiences within nature. “I have to thank my parents for making the decision to move us when were young. We faced a lot of discrimination being a part of a multi-racial family, and this is what initially sparked the move.”
